I've had the privilege of growing up in very different parts of the world; though born, raised, and currently residing in Canada, I lived in the Philippines for eleven years prior to university. I've also had the privilege of travelling through South East Asia, North America, and Europe. Coupled with my studies in history and baking & pastry arts, and knowing how both of those things have influenced media, culture, and society today, these experiences have formed the backbone of my passion in seeing more of the world.

To me, the perfect Cornish pasty is just as much of a landmark as Stonehenge... a beautiful croissant just as glorious as Monets, Manets, or Renoirs... and spending four hours consuming a thirteen course tasting menu at a Michelin-starred restaurant is just as rewarding an afternoon as one exploring Egyptian artefacts at The Met. I appreciate today and prepare for tomorrow by recognising, honouring, and learning from the past. 

As a wise hobbit once sang, “the road goes ever on and on”, and the words ring true for me. I look forward to continued adventures, unforgettable experiences, and both my belly and heart full and happy with all my travels to come.
